Thank you for your Support
I wanted to take a minute to thank each and everyone of you for purchasing a membership and coming out to support my nomination. Although I was not successful, I was overwhelmed by the support that I recieved over such a short period of time. I wish to thank Darla and Patrica for entering the nomination and wish to congratulate Brycen. I look forward to offering my support to Brycen.
Thanks

Experience Dedication Leadership TRUSTED SERVICE
For over 21 years, Matthew has called Pictou County home.
He resides in Hazel Glen, with his wife Shaunna and children Ella and Myles.
Matthew understands the challenges of raising a family today, and knows life is more expensive than it ever has been. As a rental housing provider, he has a great understanding of the current housing situation and the challenges of people finding suitable, affordable housing.
Matthew is involved in health care, and has been serving the people of Nova Scotia since 1997 as a Paramedic and Healthcare Leader. From the Northumberland Strait to the Atlantic Ocean, he understands the complex needs of all communities within Central Nova.
Matthew is passionate about Central Nova, this province and this country. Matthew grew up in Middle Sackville, he has the understanding of what both urban and rural communities need and will be an equal voice for all parts of the riding. Matthew fears the opportunities that were available in years past won't be available to the younger generation. He wants nothing but the best for Central Nova and its future.
In addtion to his work in health care, Matthew has served as a member and president of his children's School Advisory Commitee and is a member of the Squadron Sponsoring Committee of the local Air Cadet Squadron. He is a member of the Pictou West PC Association and is currently the President of the Westville Curling Club. Matthew is proud to have been awarded the Emergency Medical Services Exemplary Service Award for his dedication to providing prehosptial care in Nova Scotia.

His life experiences have equipped him to be the most efficient, empathetic and effective Conservative Candidate who will have the best shot at becoming our next MP for Central Nova. His dedication to caring for the public is unmatched. He dives right into difficult conversations with grit, patience, and a vision that is realistic to obtain. Kindly join me in supporting Matthew Vaughan, so we can get to work in making Central Nova the best place to live, play and work."

The Time is Now
In 2021 I was asked to run in Central Nova for the Conservative Party of Canada. After much thought and consideration, the timing was not right for me or my family. I knew in the future I would put my name forward. That time is now.
Now more than ever Central Nova needs strong leadership. Central Nova needs a representative who understands and has seen the challenges facing every community in this riding. From high costs due to taxes, the housing crisis to crime and drugs affecting our communities, I have the experience to deal with these issues.
Central Nova needs a leader who knows that issues are complex, has the experience and ability to weigh options carefully and can navigate the challenges ahead. I humbly ask for your support at the nomination. I want to thank all of those who have supported my nomination as well as the members of the party across the riding who have pledged their support for me at the nomination.
For those of you undecided, please reach out to me and lets have a discussion...it's exactly what I intend to do as an MP...Listen to and discuss the issues that are important to us all, and be able to seek solutions.
~Matthew
